Terms and Conditions
1. Original registration papers and a signed transfer accompany consignment blanks. $100 consignment Fee will be
taken out of sale proceeds.
2. Consignors will be paid as soon as the buyer's check clears.
3. Mares selling in foal must have a completed and signed breeder’s certificate.
4. Trinity Valley Horse Sales and its associates act as an agent only on all sales and are
not responsible for buyer/seller error or misunderstandings.
5. Any defects or bad habits must be called when the horse is sold. (Example:
Cryptoids, Cribbers, lameness or unsoundness, parrot mouth, etc…)
6. The commission will be seven percent (7%) of the selling price. The consignor will
have the privilege to no sale (pass out) his horse; the cost to the consignor will be the
consignment fee plus forty dollars.
7. Three-generation pedigrees will be printed in the catalog on all horses consigned.
Complete sire and dam notes based on the current statistics of the American
Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Association and Appaloosa Horse Club
will be furnished on all horses.
8. Only horses consigned to the sale will be allowed on the sale grounds. All horses sold
before, during or after the sale will be subject to 7% sale commission in addition to
the consignment fee. All consignments must go through the sale ring.
9. Transfer fees for the Quarter horses will be responsibility of the buyer.
10. Individual NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST current within 6 months. Health
Certificate, current within 90 days, is required for each horse if from out of state.
11. The consignment fee is nonrefundable. Consignor agrees not to withdraw entry
except for serious injury or sickness and will furnish TVHS (Trinity Valley Horse
Sales) with a notarized veterinary statement prior to the sale.
12. Upon execution of this contract, consignor agrees not to dispose of the horse by
private sale.
13. If tested, HYPP (Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis) test results must be disclosed on
all horses descended from the stallion IMPRESSIVE.
14. All Paint horses declared to be homozygous must have test results in sales office.
15. Seller is responsible for feeding, watering & general care of horse until it is sold, &
must bring buckets, feed, and hay. Buyer is responsible for the complete care the
horse after purchase in the ring. Bring all equipment required.
